Once the GP has agreed you can have medication on repeat, our computer will print a repeat order tear-off form with your prescription. There are four ways to order your repeat prescription:

  • Via the internet using SystmOnline – this is our preferred method as this goes direct to your electronic patient record. Please ask at reception for details of how to register for this service. Once registered, you just click the link at the top of this page.
  • Mark the item(s) you need and put the slip in the letter box in the foyer.
  • Fax to 01526 834868
  • Mark the item(s) you need and post the slip to us, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope.

All requests will be ready to collect or sent direct to your chosen pharmacy within two working days of receipt. Please remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.

Medication Reviews

We cannot give repeat medicines indefinitely without reviewing your condition. The length of time between reviews will depend on your condition. Therefore, we may ask you to make an appointment with the doctor or nurse before we issue another prescription.

The dispensary telephone enquiry line is open 09:00 – 17:00, please note this is for medication queries only.  Unfortunately, due to possible errors we cannot take requests for repeat medication over the telephone.

Dispensary Services

Do you know?

The practice offers a free weekly delivery service of medication to our most vulnerable dispensing patients.

We can offer a monitored dosage system for our vulnerable dispensing patients.  The monitored dosage system lowers the risk of unintentional non-compliance.

For carers, the monitored dosage system allows them the confidence that their loved one is taking the appropriate medication safely.

The dispensers can help with a dispensary review of your medication. This is different to the medication review conducted by the doctor or the nurses.  The dispensary review check you are able to manage your medication (i.e. pop out of the blisters) that you understand what each of your medications are for, and if there is anything the dispensary staff can help you with.

Please ask any of our dispensary team for more information.
