Ask my GP system changes

To enable the clinical team to meet and review the requests submitted via AMGP, we will be changing the hours that you our patients can submit queries via this service.

From Tuesday 28^th March 2023:

AMGP will open at 6.30pm and remain open until 9am (Monday to Friday)

Please note, this is to allow our patients time to submit any routine queries, that will be reviewed and appropriately triaged by the clinical team after 9am the following day.

This service WILL NOT BE MONITORED when the practice is closed.

It is VERY IMPORTANT that you DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE if your request is urgent and can not wait for the next day triage. 

If you are unable to access the internet and have no family member/friend that can assist, you will still be able to contact our patient navigator team between 8am – 9am Monday to Friday for them to add the contact on your behalf.  However, please note this will limit the contact the clinical team can have directly with you.

With this change we will monitor, review and make changes as required to ensure we have a system that works as well as possible for you, clinicians and the Practice.

Whilst the perfect system is not out there, this does not stop us striving to do the very best we can with the resources we have.

We are realistic, and know that whatever system we have, we probably do not have the resources available to give all patients exactly what they want. By working together, whilst ensuring that the Practice team have a safe workload we believe we will provide patients with the care and support they need.
